Meeting Description:
The Workshop on the Development of Prosody and Intonation is the 1st workshop organized by the DEPE Project (Laboratório de Fonética & Lisbon Baby Lab,Centro de Linguística da Universidade de Lisboa). The main goal of the workshop is to present and discuss different aspects of prosodic and intonational development in several languages. The workshop is also a forum for discussion of the DEPE Project, which focuses on the development of prosodic structure and intonation in Portuguese from a cross-linguistic perspective (namely, by drawing comparisons with Catalan, Spanish and Dutch).
