Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader in Sociolinguistics(Ref. ACR193)
The Department of Language and Linguistics are looking to appoint aLecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader to contribute to the research and teachingin the field of Sociolinguistics, with a specialisation in languagevariation and change. Duties will also include supervision of undergraduateprojects, MA and PhD dissertations and to contribute to the successfuladministration of the Department.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in producing highquality publications in leading international journals, in attractingexternal research funding, and in providing high quality teaching (or beable to demonstrate clear evidence of potential in all of these, in thecase of less experienced applicants).
Salary range: £36,715-£52,347 per annum
