Description:

The collaborative research center SFB 833 'Constructing Meaning' at theUniversity of Tübingen is offering a two-year postdoctoral position in thearea of experimental semantics. The successful candidate will be aresearcher with demonstrated research experience in formal semantics andexperimental methods in semantics and pragmatics.

The research center aims to extend its work on the empirical basis offormal semantic models with this appointment. Investigation of thecorrespondence of traditional intuitions of felicity with behaviouralmeasures is intended to be a particular focus of the work of the new colleague.

The salary and conditions of the post are at point E13 on the public TV-Lpay scale, which is standard for research officers.
