Description:
The Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT invites applications fora Postdoctoral Associate position in syntax or semantics. Appointments maystart on September 1, 2011 or February 1, 2012 and will be for a period ofone or two semesters, with a possibility of renewal into the academic year2012-13. The successful candidate is expected to conduct research thatcontributes to the mission of the department and to teach at least onegraduate or undergraduate subject per semester. Salary will becommensurate with experience. Appropriately qualified candidates can alsobe appointed at the rank of Visiting Assistant (or Associate) Professor.
