Description:
The Department of Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York hasan AHRC Doctoral Studentship in any area of Linguistics and a TeachingStudentship in either Phonetics or Language Variation and Change to award tostudents entering the PhD programme in September 2011.
Applications for the AHRC Doctoral Studentship must be received by 2 March2011. Applications for the Teaching Studentship must be received by 30 April2011.
We also have a Master's scholarship for the new MA in Phonological Developmentin Childhood to offer for study beginning September 2011. Scholarship applicationsmust be received by 30 April 2011.
The PhD awards provide three years' full-time fees and maintenance for Home/EUstudents, and the Master's scholarship offers a tuition fee waiver (at the home/EUrate). The scholarship covers one year of full time registration.
