Description:

Ajou University, Graduate School of Education invites applications for anAssistant Professor/an Open Rank Professor position with expertise in thearea of TESOL/Applied Linguistics. It is a full-time position (non-tenuretrack) in the MA TESOL program; PhD in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or arelated field is required.

The successful candidate will be a native-like English speaker and teachspecialized courses in the MA TESOL, TESOL Certificate program andIntensive Teacher Training program. The teaching load is 10 credit hoursper week. The candidate should carry out research in the specialized area,conduct excellent teaching, supervise theses of MA TESOL students andcollaborate in the department work.

Qualification: PhD in TESOL or Applied Linguistics

Salary: Salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experienceand qualifications, however, minimum salary is 48,000,000 won (about $ 40,000).

Period: One year with potential for renewal
