The University of Neuchâtel will appoint, as of August, 1st 2012, anAssistant Professor of English Linguistics. Possible fields ofspecialisation: second language acquisition; psycholinguistics of languageacquisition; bilingualism; cognitive linguistics.This is a non-tenurable 4year appointment, renewable once (maximum 8 years). Publications, researchand teaching experience are required. Responsibilities include 4 hoursweekly teaching (45 minutes each) and some administrative work.

Teaching in the Institute is in English, but knowledge of French would bean advantage. Neuchâtel is an attractive town located only an hour fromGeneva and four from Paris. Salaries are very competitive.
