Description:
The Department of Linguistics, McGill University, invites applications for atenure-track position in phonology at the rank of Assistant Professor,effective August 1st, 2012. Applicants should have a research agenda thatcomplements the existing strengths of the Department. General qualificationsare a PhD in linguistics and demonstrated excellence in research andteaching in the area(s) of specialization. Duties will include undergraduate andgraduate teaching, graduate research guidance and administrativeresponsibilities.
Salary: McGill scale.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizensand permanent residents of Canada will be given priority. English is thelanguage of instruction at McGill; knowledge of French is an asset.
