Employment of a Visiting Lecturer, Term LimitedThe Faculty of Humanities, Kyushu University, Japan, announces an openingfor a Visiting Lecturer, term limited, from April 1st, 2012.
1. The ideal applicant should:(1) be a native speaker of English.(2) have a professional interest in teaching English linguistics and othercourses (including English conversation, composition, and cultural studies).(3) have a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification (although applicants holding aMaster's degree or equivalent qualification will also be considered).(4) be able to teach English linguistics as a graduate course.2. The official status will be term-limited visiting lectureship with the teachingload of approximately five to seven 90-minute classes per week. It isnecessary to cooperate in marking of the Kyushu University EntranceExaminations and other office duties.3. Term of Employment: one year, renewable once.4. Remuneration will be approximately five to nine million yen per annum(including bonuses) before tax depending on age, qualifications andexperience. The travel expenses from the selected applicant's presentaddress to Fukuoka will be refunded by the university.5. Applicants are requested to send the documents listed below to theapplication address below.
