To mark the occasion of York's 50th anniversary, the University intends tocreate up to twenty new Chairs and Readerships. The scheme includes theDepartment of Language and Linguistic Science. The University is seekingoutstanding individuals who have achieved distinction in their fields who willbuild further on the University's academic success, enhance our teaching andresearch expertise and increase our international competitiveness.
