Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Indiana University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidatemust possess demonstrated strength in quantitative or statistical modeling,experimental design, and/or variable data analysis, provide clear evidence of astrong research program in either phonetics/phonology or semantics, and showpotential for external funding.

In addition, the successful candidate must provide evidence of excellence inteaching, and will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and graduateinstruction. The PhD should be in hand prior to the target date of appointment,August 2012.
