The University Paris Diderot is offering an associate professor positionwith the following profile:
Morphology and Syntax : theory and experimental methods
The candidate should have a PhD in Linguistics (or equivalent) defendedbefore December 13th 2011 and be registered on the French CNUqualification list before October 27th 2011.
S/he should have expertise in contemporary morphological and syntactictheories, as well as experience of quantitative or psycholinguistic methods.
S/he should be able to promote an innovative interdisciplinary researchprogram with linguists, psycholinguists and computational linguists, andbecome a member of the research lab Laboratoire de Linguistique formelle(http://www.llf.cnrs.fr/) or Alpage (http://alpage.inria.fr). S/he maybecome a member of the 10 year project, LabEx Empirical Foundations ofLinguistics (http://www.labex-efl.org/).
S/he will have to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Linguisticdepartment (http://www.univ-paris-diderot.fr) and will be paid inaccordance with the French state regulated public service salary scale.This is a permanent life time position with a civil servant status.
