Description:
Ajou University, Graduate School of Education invites applications for anAssistant Professor/Open Rank Professor position with expertise in the areaof TESOL/Applied Linguistics. It is a full-time position (non-tenure track) inthe MA TESOL program.
The successful candidate will be a native-like English speaker and teachspecialized courses in the MA TESOL, TESOL Certificate program, andIntensive Teacher Training program. The teaching load is 10 credit hours perweek. The candidate should carry out research in the specialized area,conduct excellent teaching, supervise theses of MA TESOL students andcollaborate in the department work.
PhD in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field is required. Salary will behighly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications,however, minimum salary is 48,000,000 won (about $ 43,000). Benefitsinclude housing, health insurance, pension, and research support. This is aone-year position with potential for renewal.
