The position is offered by a 10-year project in linguistics entitled, 'Empiricalfoundations of linguistics'. The candidate will work in theStrand 2 :Experimental Grammar in a cross linguistic perspective, substrandExperimental Syntax

The candidate will identify the different factors influencing the relative orderingof verbal complements in a cross-linguistic perspective. S/he will be usingannotated corpora (written and spoken treebanks) and designingpsycholinguistic experiments (in production and comprehension). The candidateshould be trained in syntax, annotated corpora, psycholinguistics and statistics.Knowledge of French or a verb final language will be a plus. S/he should havedefended his/her PhD before Dec 1st, 2012.
