Our Jobs area has evolved with the field of linguistics; our job listingsinclude a wide variety of positions that encompass diverse areas ofresearch, both commercial and academic. We make these job postingsavailable for free in a number of ways. Readers can access jobannouncements through our website(http://linguistlist.org/jobs/browse-job-current-rs-1.html), subscribe toour listserv or RSS (http://linguistlist.org/LL/subs-index.cfm) or followus on Twitter (http://twitter.com/linguistlistjob).

To better serve job seekers, we have developed a browseable web interfacethat allows users to view the most recent posted jobs and to sort thislisting by employer name, location, rank/title of the position, linguisticspecialty, or application deadline. This allows users to quickly access andview the information they are looking for. Jobs seekers can also search forjobs with specific criteria using our search function. Here they can selectjob rank, location, linguistics subfield, and/or language to narrow theirresults, allowing them to see only the jobs matching their description. Ourjobs pages are some of the most frequently visited on the vast LINGUISTList site, with over 21,000 unique page views in just one week.

Many of you have may have used our service to post or find a job, and manymore of you will use this service in the coming year. Please donate to ourFund Drive to help us continue posting these jobs! Any amount will help, sowhether you can give $5 or $50, please visit
