The Division of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University ofWashington seeks a full-time lecturer in Spanish to teach upper divisionSpanish linguistics courses and Spanish language courses at all levels.Responsibilities include an annual teaching load of seven coursesspread over three academic quarters plus some departmental service.Three year renewable appointment, to begin autumn 2013. Non-tenureeligible.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics and/or SecondLanguage Acquisition or equivalent. Native or near-native fluency inSpanish and demonstrated excellence in Spanish language instructionat all levels required
