Description:
The Department of Anthropology at Yale University seeks to fill a position inlinguistic anthropology at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Desiredqualifications include broad grounding in linguistic anthropology, a strongrecord of language-centered fieldwork, and a willingness to work towardsrebuilding departmental strength in the subfield. Specialty and geographicalarea are open. Applicants should have strong records of publication based onestablished, ongoing research programs, and a demonstrated ability to teachand advise students at the undergraduate and graduate level. The appointmentwould begin July 1, 2013.
