Conference Fee:

Call for Papers:

We invite papers from scholars working in linguistics, cultural studies, literature, psychology, philosophy, artificial intelligence, and other disciplines who wish to present their research on cognitive linguistics and related fields: cognitive poetics, cognitive psychology, cognitive anthropology, etc.

We encourage submissions presenting the most recent advances in Polish as well as international cognitive linguistics. In particular, we look forward to presentations re-evaluating the linguistic status quo, discussing the development of cognitive corpus linguistics and other empirical methodologies informed by cognitive linguistics, assessing the applications of classic (Langacker's, Lakoff's, Talmy's, Goldberg's, etc.) cognitive linguistic models, and documenting latest research into conceptual metaphor, metonymy, mental spaces, conceptual integration, first and second language acquisition (regular as well as anomalous), humor, and artificial intelligence. We also look forward to presentations exploring the cross-fertilization of structural, generative, and cognitive linguistics.

Talks will be 20 minutes (plus 10 minutes for discussion).
