The Canadian Modern Language Review welcomes the submission of previously unpublished articles that address issues related to second language learning and teaching which will be of interest to researchers and second language educators. This includes articles on either of Canada's official languages, French and English, as well as the range of languages taught as foreign, minority, and heritage languages.
CMLR encourages a strong French-language presence within its pages and is the only top-tier journal in North America that currently accepts submissions in French.
The Canadian Modern Language Review uses a bilingual online peer review system called PRESTO where authors, peer reviewers, and book reviewers can submit articles, evaluations, and book reviews online. PRESTO streamlines the publication process providing an easy-to-use and effective system for authors, reviewers, and editors alike.
