Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Schoolof Humanities (Linguistics), from August 2013 for a period of three years.

The post falls within the strategic area of establishing an acoustic andarticulatory research facility at HKU and developing software tools forcollecting and analyzing articulatory data. The appointee will contribute tothe department's research programme in understanding how sound works in humanlanguage both through software development and through articulatory researchthat makes use of those tools, supervised by Professor Diana Archangeli.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experiencewill be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
