Duties:
Developing language models and language modeling techniques for use in ASR and NLP. Optimizing language models for use in language technology products. Working as part of language technology teams doing research and development in a range of computational linguistic areas such as text processing, computational semantics, reasoning, inference, discourse, dialog, and machine learning. Language modelers need to be good team players who are excited about seeing their work go into products.
Qualifications:
- MS or Ph.d in Computational Linguistics or related field
- Broad background in computational linguistics/NLP
- Experience in language modeling, statistical, rule-based and hybrid on both speech and text data
- Industry or other applied experience a plus
- Experience in NLP, NLU, computational semantics, inference, reasoning , discourse, dialog, and machine learning a plus; other areas of computational linguistics may also be of interest
- Good teamwork skills
- Flexibility
