The Department of Linguistics at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorfinvites applications for a postdoctoral researcher whose main research focusis on formal semantics and its connections to pragmatics, logic, syntax,philosophy of language and other fields of cognitive science.
Terms of Appointment:The primary responsibility will be to teach two classes per semester (inGerman language) and conduct research in the semantics and its related fields.The starting date is October 1, 2013. The initial term of appointment is untilSeptember 30, 2014, with the possibility of renewal. Salary is on the Germanscale TV-L E13, %100.
Application and Selection Process:Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. degree (or an equivalent degree) by thetime of application. For full consideration, send an application and arrangeto have three letters of reference sent by July 20, 2013. Later applicationsmay be considered as well, until the position has been filled.

The application materials should include a CV, a very briefstatement of research interests (up to 4 pages), a writing sample, as well aslinks to papers (or electronic versions thereof).
