Description:

The Center for Languages of the Central Asian Region (CeLCAR), a National Language Resource Center (LRC) funded by the US Department of Education, is seeking a Kazakh language specialist to add to and edit the elementary Kazakh materials we have. This is for part time employment, starting Monday, July 8, 2013. Graduate students are also invited to apply and will be employed on an hourly basis. This job may be done by telecommuting from a remote location, such as from a location in Central Asia.

Our introductory Kazakh materials are already in early draft form and will also require Kazakh language editing. Successful applicants must be self-motivated and able to meet strict project deadlines with minimal supervision, be native speakers of Kazakh as spoken in Kazakhstan.
