Description:
The University invites applications for a lectureship in Applied Linguistics or Linguistics in the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies.
The successful candidate should have completed a PhD in an aspect of Applied Linguistics or Linguistics, and have experience in teaching at the tertiary level. S/he will have demonstrated strength in qualitative research, and will be able to contribute to teaching and research in the areas of discourse analysis and/or socio-cultural theories of learning.
It would also be an advantage if s/he could contribute to language teaching methodology and/or applied sociolinguistics courses.
Early career academics and recent PhD graduates are encouraged to apply.
