As part of this Breakthrough strategy the Faculty of Arts and Design is looking for an Assistant Professor in TESOL, Foreign Language Teaching (FLT) to make significant contributions to the research-led teaching effort in TESOL/FLT, especially in the areas of reflective teaching, language teaching methodology, and language testing and assessment as well as general linguistics. The successful candidate will:
- Be qualified to Doctorate level and will have strong professional experience in TESOL- Be an active researcher, HDR supervisor and innovative teacher at both postgraduate and undergraduate level- Work with a team to build national and international collaborative research networks- Lead scholarly pursuits including research-led teaching and opportunities that align with the University’s research and education themes.
