Job Assignments:
The successful candidate is expected to devote their time primarily to their own research in English with a linguistic orientation. He or she will also be expected to contribute actively to the fulfillment of the subject´s and the department´s academic, pedagogical and strategic goals as well as to undertake a limited amount of 20 % at the most of teaching and supervision at both introductory and advanced levels.
Eligibility:
Candidates must possess a Swedish doctoral degree in English with a linguistic orientation or the equivalent from a foreign university. Since employment as postdoctoral constitutes a qualifying appointment for junior researchers, we aim to target those who have a doctoral degree not older than 3 years from the application deadline.

Assessment:
In the assessment of the candidates the emphasis will be on the documented research skills. The statement purpose, which should include a research plan, 3 pages at the most, and a short description of how the candidate will contribute to the development of the discipline, will also be taken into consideration.
Additional information:
The tenured postdoctor is expected to often be physically present at the department and regularly participate in its work.
