The Norwegian Dependency Treebank (NDT) is a
new syntactic treebank for Norwegian Bokmål and
Nynorsk, the two written standards of
Norwegian. It contains approximately 600,000
tokens, equally distributed between Norwegian
Bokmål and Nynorsk, manually annotated with
pos-tags, morphological features, syntactic
functions and dependency graphs.
The NDT is developed at the National Library of
Norway in collaboration with the University of
Oslo, and is the first publically available
treebank for Norwegian Bokmål and Nynorsk. This
release of the NDT contains detailed annotation
guidelines in English and Norwegian.
