Meeting Description:

The international scientific conference, Phonetics and Phonology of the Baltic Languages, organized by Vilnius University and the Institute of the Lithuanian Language will be held at Vilnius University (Universiteto str. 5, Vilnius, Lithuania) on October 30–31, 2014. This is the third annual conference that is dedicated to the memory of prominent Lithuanian phonetician and phonologist Professor Aleksas Girdenis (1936-2011). The reports dealing with research in Phonetics and Phonology are welcome.

The filled registration form should be sent via email to baltphongmail.com by September 15, 2014.

Registration fee 50 LTL (15 EUR) will be charged during registration.

Call for Papers:

Vilnius University and Institute of the Lithuanian Language are pleased to invite you to the international conference Phonetics and Phonology of the Baltic Languages which will be held at Vilnius University on October 30 and 31, 2014. The conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Aleksas Girdenis (1936–2011).

Papers may address any research in Phonetics or Phonology of the Baltic languages (Latvian and Lithuanian).

Preliminary time for presentation: 20 minutes.

Abstracts should be up to 500 words. MS Word format is preferred.

Abstracts and the filled registration form should be sent via email to baltphongmail.com by September 15, 2014.
