Signs and Representations
4-5-6 December 2014
By addressing the issue of signs and
representations, this conference hopes to
investigate the elusive and ambiguous
relationship between perception and the world;
calling to the mind the possibility of
alternative worlds and the relativity of
spatio-temporal levels. Therefore, it is
necessary to remember that signs and
representations are the sum total of the
cognitive process but it is highlighted in the
creative literary act (prose or poetry) or
through the cultural imagination (individual or
collective) or the practices and customs that
are the result of the act of perceiving.
