Meeting Description:
The first Bilingualism in the Hispanic and
Lusophone world (BHL) conference will take
place at Leiden University (The Netherlands) on
January 14-16, 2015.
The goal of the BHL is to bring together
researchers working on different aspects of
bilingualism in the Hispanic and Lusophone
world. Hence, the BHL will be dedicated to
research in any area related to bilingualism,
including theoretical linguistics,
sociolinguistics, second language and bilingual
acquisition, heritage languages, and
psycholinguistics. By bringing together
researchers from different perspectives we will
be able to share new insights regarding
methodology and get a better understanding of
bilingualism.

Call for Papers:
We invite talks and posters in any area related
to bilingualism, including theoretical
linguistics, sociolinguistics, second language
and bilingual acquisition, heritage languages,
and psycholinguistics.
Abstracts are invited for 20-minute talks (plus
10 minutes for discussion) and posters. The
abstracts should be anonymous, written in
English, and fit on 1 page. An additional page
may be added for references. Abstracts are due
on September 8, 2014 (midnight, Central
European Time), and should be sent through the
following Easychair website:
http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/BHL
Submissions are limited to one individual and
one joint abstract per author, or 2 joint
abstracts per author.
Notification of acceptance will be sent around
October 15.
