Meeting Description:
The International Conference on Language Variation in Europe (ICLaVE) aims to bring together scholars of any European language with the purpose of discussing methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change.
Call for Papers:
ICLaVE8 now invites submissions for papers and posters. Scholars in any area of linguistics, such as historical linguistics, psycholinguistics, dialectology, sociolinguistics, phonetics, etc. are invited to submit their proposals.
Deadline for paper or poster submission: 30 November 2014
Notification of acceptance: 01 February 2015
Papers will be 20 minutes each, with a 10-minute question-and-answer period. Abstracts should not exceed 500 words, excluding title and references. All abstracts will be subjected to blind review, so author names should not appear anywhere on the abstract.
