We invite applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University. The candidate will collaborate with Paul Tupper and other researchers in Cognitive Science at SFU. See
http://www.sfu.ca/cognitive-science/people.html for faculty interests. Current projects include working with the phonology group in SFU’s Department of Linguistics (professors J. Alderete and A. Farris-Trimble) or in the Cognitive Science lab (M. Blair, director).
Applicants must either have experience in a computationally intensive branch of linguistics or psychology, or a background in mathematics with an interest in cognitive science. Applicants from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. The salary will be at a competitive level and include funding for travel. Fellows will need to teach one undergraduate course per year.
