The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Queen’s University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates interested in teaching a course in LING 100/6.0 Introduction to Linguistics; LING 310/3.0 Phonetics; and LING 320/3.0 Phonology). These are on-campus introductory and foundation lecture courses with an expected enrollment of ~130 students for LING 100/6.0; 30 students in LING 310/3.0 and 30 students in LING 320/3.0. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Theoretical Linguistics completed at the start date of the appointment, and teaching experience at the University level in Phonetics and Phonology. This is a fall/winter term appointment for the period September 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016 with classes in session from September 7, 2015 to April 1, 2016.
