Description:
This course is addressed at those who are interested in audio description as a mode of accessible audiovisual translation, which consists of changing images into words in order to make audiovisual products (theater, cinema, etc.) accessible to the visually impaired audience. It is also addressed at teachers of foreign languages who are looking for innovative ways to promote language skills in the classroom. This course is given in English, but it is based in a Spanish university (UNED), so a minimum level of Spanish is required in order to register (online registration, deadline: 1 December 2014).
Duration of the course: 150 hours.
