Abstract:

Die Basá-Sprache gehört zu den Bantu-Sprachen. Sie wird von Edea bis fast 1 Tag vor Jaunde, im Süden bis zum Nyonfluß, im Norden bis Bamum und Wute gesprochen. Als Bantu-Sprache kennzeichnet sich das Basá durch den Mangel des Artikels, durch die Verwendung von Vorsilben zur Bezeichnung grammatischer Unterschiede, durch die Existenz eines besonders persönlichen Fürwortes für jede Nominalklasse, das, als Verbalpräfix, die Person bezeichnet, sowie durch die Wortstellung. Diese vorliegende Arbeit ist die erste zur Basá-Sprache (nach dem Vorwort).
