Meeting Description:

The Payap University Linguistics Institute cordially invites scholars working on Southeast Asian linguistics to the 25th Annual Meeting of the Southeast Asian Linguistics Society (SEALS), May 27-29, 2015 at Payap University, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The meeting will be an occasion for scholars to share research on the languages and linguistics of Southeast Asia.

2nd Call for Papers:

You are invited to submit an abstract on any branch of linguistics in a Southeast Asian context, including but not limited to the following:

- Phonetics and phonology
- Grammatical system
- Genetic and areal relationships
- Historical and comparative studies
- Semantics, pragmatics and discourse analysis
- Sociolinguistics
- Psycholinguistics, neuro-linguistics, and linguistic cognition
- Language documentation, endangered languages and linguistic diversity

Conference slots will be 20 minutes presentation plus 10 minutes discussion time. As the total number of presentation times will be limited, poster presentations will also be possible.

Abstracts should be no more than 500 words, including examples and references, not exceeding 1 A4 page in single-space 12 point type.

They should be submitted by January 10, 2015 via the Easychair website (link will be available on the website from December 1, 2014).
