Description:
Department of Languages and Linguistics at University of Tromsø, Norway is welcoming applications for a doctoral fellowship.
This is a fully funded four-year doctoral fellowship including a 25% teaching position.
The position is attached to the research center CASTL (Center for Advanced Study in Theoretical Linguistics) within the Department of Language and Linguistics. The project which the PhD candidate shall work on, and which must be outlined in the application, therefore has to be attached to research done at CASTL (see
http://castl.uit.no). CASTL's primary research activity is within generative grammar with a focus on Syntax, Phonology, and Language Acquisition. Applicants with projects in all these core areas are encouraged to apply.
