Globe: A Journal of Language, Culture and Communication is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal which seeks to publish original research articles of high quality in language, linguistics, and communication studies. Globe is anchored at Aalborg University in Denmark and is managed by members of two research groups in language and communication. The fourth issue is scheduled for publication in the spring of 2016, and will consist of a thematic section, an open section, and a section for book reviews.
The thematic section of the fourth issue focuses on the Discourse and Communication in Professional Contexts, and we invite contributions dealing with discourse and communication aspects relating to organizational communication from different perspectives, addressing opportunities and limitations of the interaction between different social actors in professional contexts. Papers may focus on empirical cases as well as conceptual or theoretical issues within the following or related themes:
- Stakeholder dialogue
- Intercultural interaction
- Organizational culture
- Identity construction
- Digital Media
This issue will include selected papers from the 1st International and Interdisciplinary Conference on Discourse and Communication in Professional Contexts, with the title ''Organizational Communication - from Academic and Practical Perspectives'', held in Aalborg August 2015, but is also open for other contributions within the field of discourse and communication in professional contexts.
The editorial team hereby invites researchers within this field to submit contributions in English, Spanish, German, or Danish (which are the publication languages of the journal) to all three sections of the fourth issue.
Globe is published by Aalborg University Press via the OJS platform which allows for very easy on-line submission and tracking of submitted articles. You will find specific information on how to submit articles, including author guidelines, here.
