Meeting Description:

As part of the UNICEF/University of Melbourne Language, Education and Social Cohesion project, a major International conference on language policy in multilingual and multicultural settings is being held in Mandalay, Myanmar on February 8-11, 2016.

Call for Papers:

The conference organisers are inviting all interested parties to submit proposals on topics relating to language education and its role in fostering peace, democracy and social cohesion in a range of national contexts. Please ensure proposals do not exceed 250 words and are sent to MyanmarNLP-confunimelb.edu.au by no later than Friday, November 27, 2015.

Proposals can be submitted in English or Myanmar.

Please provide the following information:

Name/s and title; Affiliation; Email Address; Paper Title; Proposal (no more than 250 words), and Keywords: list up to 6 keywords to assist with program allocation.
