Description:
LOT is the acronym of 'Landelijke Onderzoekschool Taalwetenschap', the Netherlands National Graduate School of Linguistics. LOT unites about 400 faculty and 150 PhD students and provides a meeting point to further national and international communication for the benefit of linguistic research and education. LOT organizes and coordinates the training of graduate students in linguistics. Each year, LOT organizes a winter school in January/February and a summer school in June/July.

The LOT schools are primarily meant for advanced students. This means that we are open to PhD students affiliated with one of the LOT institutes or other research institutes in the world.

Registration Instructions:
Admission is free for those PhD students and research master students (ReMa) who are officially affiliated with one of the eight institutes that participate in LOT. Non-LOT Phd students and post doc researchers must pay a tuition fee of 175 euros for one week or 300 euros for two weeks (accommodation not included). Non-LOT ReMa students (except from ReMa students of the LOT partner institutes Leuven and Gent) cannot enroll in the school.
