Meeting Description:

Southern California Undergraduate Linguistics Conference

SCULC (Southern California Undergraduate Linguistics Conference) is being held on in late April/early May at the University of California, Los Angeles by the Linguistics Department and the undergraduate-run linguistics society, Bruin Linguists. Founded in 2010 by Bruin Linguists, SCULC was established to create a collaborative and educational environment for the undergraduate linguistics community. Throughout the years, it has been entirely student-run and free for all participants, presenters, and guests, supported by contributions from the linguistics community, the UCLA Linguistics Department, and individuals working to help enhance and expand the experience of undergraduates in linguistics.

Right now, SCULC is looking for undergraduate presenters from any university to submit their research for presentation. We are also looking for a professor or graduate student to serve as a speaker and present their research as well. To be considered for presentations as a presenter or a speaker, please submit an abstract following the guidelines.

Conference Details:

The posted date of April 18 is tentative.

The entire conference is free. Please note that there will be no reimbursements for transportation or hospitality for attendance to SCULC for presenters or attendees.

For those who would like to attend but not present, please check http://www.bruinling.org and we will be posting up-to-date information about the conference.

Please contact blingbruinling.org if you have further questions.
