Call for Papers:

For this inaugural conference on Language and Society, postgraduate students are invited to submit abstract of 250 words on topics relating to the use and perception of language in communities and societies. Presentations at the conference are not required to address a specific theme but those with a cross-linguistic, interdisciplinary or socio-historical perspective are particularly encouraged.

Deadline for abstracts:
November 15, 2015 (notification of acceptance by December 1)
