Job Description
The Department of English Language and Literature, Ewha Womans University (Seoul, South Korea), invites applications for a tenure-track position in syntax at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective March 1, 2016.
The position is open to non-Korean citizens only. General qualifications are a PhD in linguistics and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching in the area of syntax or related fields. Duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising, and administrative responsibilities. Candidates must provide strong evidence of research of an internationally competitive caliber, as evidenced by publication in leading journals in the field and strong endorsements by referees. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
