Meeting Description:

The 3rd Annual (University of Toronto) Scarborough Undergraduate Linguistics Conference (SULC) will take place March 11, 2016 in Toronto, ON, Canada. SULC brings together undergraduate students doing original research in any subfield in linguistics. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 papers presented at the conference and a selection of papers will be published in the online conference proceedings.

Call for Papers:

We invite one-page abstracts (300 words max.) for presentations on any aspect of language analysis: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, historical linguistics, computational linguistics, language acquisition, language variation, multilingualism, comparative analysis etc. Maximum of one sole author and one-co-authored paper per person.

Deadline for submission: Abstracts must be sent via email as attachments in (MS word or PDF format) to sulc.utscgmail.com by Monday, November 30, 2015.

An adjudication committee will select the papers to be included in the conference. Students with accepted submissions will be contacted the week of January 11. Please email sulc.utscgmail.com if you have any further questions.
