SHEL 10 (Studies in the History of the English Language)

Building on the most recent successes at University of British Columbia (SHEL 9; 2015), Brigham Young University (SHEL 8; 2013), and University of Indiana (SHEL 7; 2012), SHEL 10 will be hosted at the University of Kansas, June 2-4, 2017. This 10th anniversary of the conference series will provide scholars the opportunity to share and discuss cutting-edge research on the history of English worldwide. All topics and approaches in the study of the history of the English language are invited. Proposals will undergo review by the Program Committee, whose members are listed below. A full Call for Papers with more information (including a conference website) will be issued in August 2016.
