Meeting Description:
In the last years, theoretically informed research on syntax of different varieties of German has gained momentum. In this symposium, which is held on a regular basis, we want to bring together researchers in this field and offer a forum for this line of research. The papers will appear in printed form in a special issue of the journal ZDL, as in the last years. The conference languages will be German and English.

Saarbrücker runder Tisch für Dialektsyntax

We invite contributions on syntactic research on contemporary or historical dialects or other varieties of German or closely related languages (e.g. Letzeburgish, Cimbrian and other isolated communities). The talks should treat the data from a theoretically informed perspective. Please send a one-page abstract (Times New Roman, 12 dpi, 1 inch margins) plus 1 page for examples and references in pdf format to sardis
