Description:
The Summer Institute for Languages of the Muslim World (SILMW) provides a unique opportunity for high school students interested in learning Arabic. This is a 2-week intensive and immersive program held on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. High school students enrolled in this program will earn 2 hours of college credit and gain foundational skills in the Arabic language. In addition to 4 hours of daily classroom instruction, students will take part in a variety of cultural activities intended to immerse them in the Arabic language. These include conversation tables, movie nights, cooking classes, game nights, field trips, and much more!

Full and Partial scholarships and financial aid are available.
