The successful applicant will be committed to conducting research for a project on the second language acquisition of Spanish past tense forms by native speakers of English and Dutch, focusing on phenomena that lie at the interface between grammar and other modules of the mind, world knowledge and reasoning. The project to be developed between the two institutions, University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and University of Greenwich (UK), includes a theoretical and an empirical dimension whereby the candidate will gain training in offline and online psycholinguistic methods.
