Focus: The Summer school of Cognitive Science gives an opportunity to students and young researchers to get acquainted with the range of current topics and achievements in cognitive science research.

The International Summer School in Cognitive Science is a unique event which brings together students and researchers all over the world and is a platform for collaboration. This year’s edition offers the following courses:

- Event Cognition- Jeffrey Zacks,
- How People Understand Language: Semantic Memory, Concepts, and Sentence Comprehension – Ken McRae
- Cognitive Development and Representational Change - Yuko Munakata
- Knowledge Representation in Biological and Artificial Neural Networks – Ivo Popivanov and Ivan Vankov, NBU
- Eye-tracking: Methodology and Applications – Evgeniya Hristova, NBU
- Tutorial in E-prime scripts - Kiril Kostov, NBU

The Summer School includes also daily discussion sessions in small groups and other events.
