Sensely's avatar and chatbot-based platforms help direct patients and insurance members to the healthcare resources and insurance services they need, when they need it. With offices in London and San Francisco, Sensely's global teams provide virtual assistant solutions to insurance companies, pharmaceutical clients, and hospital systems worldwide.

As a conversation designer at Sensely, you will be part of a team that works on many different types of tasks, including:
- Writing dialogue and building conversations
- Content management and optimization for our platform
- Designing features with product and engineering
- QA testing for new conversations and product features
- Configuration: building and maintaining accounts, updating attributes for those accounts, assigning conversations, more
- Managing projects with external contractors, e.g. translations
- UX/UI and usability research
- Analytics, finding patterns in user behavior
- Helping to define the conversational experience

- Motivated learner and problem-solver
- Knowledgeable about linguistic norms of speech, writing, conversation and communication
- Excited about working on a cutting-edge, multimodal conversational platform
- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics or a related discipline

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with speech recognition, text-to-speech (TTS), and NLU technology
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative methods for (user) research
- Comfortable with technology, including skills like data manipulation and visualization, SQL, scripting
- Master’s or PhD in linguistics or a related discipline
